Liquid Web was founded in 1997 by Matthew Hill. Hill was 16 at the time. The company soon grew to greater heights because of its focus on responsive customer support. Madison Dearborn Partners made a significant investment in the company in the May of 2015 and Jim Geiger was subsequently made the CEO for his controlling stake and large private holding in the company. Additionally, the enforcement by the new CEO on his commitment to furthering the interests of the company only strengthened the strong position that Liquidweb had in the market.
Liquidweb offers web hosting services in the market and is well known for the flexibility that it offers to the customer. The different packages that cater to the different segments of the market only strengthen the leading position that the company has in the hosting market. The added security that the hosting services have only makes it ideal for the business user as well. They do have both the Linux as well as the Windows hosting packages. There are dedicated servers as well as virtual private servers, as a range of add-on products.
